Service Description

This class is heavily focused on running and occasionally will also feature strength exercises. The main trail that we train on is a 0.6 mile loop with inclines, declines, mixed surfaces and some beginner level technical elements. If it has rained within the past 3-4 days, trail running shoes are recommended. We occasionally use different trails in the City of Pittsburgh (Other Emerald View Trails, Frick Park Trails, etc.) so always check the schedule for the location. The format is everchanging and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace be it walking, jogging or a full out sprint. When included the strength elements of the class typically involve bodyweight exercises, heavy carries and grip strength exercises. Whether you walk or run the loop you are guaranteed to get a GREAT workout! ALL FITNESS LEVELS ARE WELCOME EXERCISES CAN BE MODIFIED TO ACCOMODATE ABILITY This is a great class if you are training for an Obstacle Course Race (Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, etc.) This class is subject to weather related cancellations, and or location changes. IF the class is cancelled or the location is changed, you will be notified in advance via text or email.
